About me Five years ago a neighbour opened The Fat Green Frog Beading Experience - a bead shop - in the village where I live: Riebeek West in the Western Cape, South Africa on the Southern Tip of Africa. The shop sparked my beading enthusiasm. Soon afterwards I taught myself beading full time - writing illustrated easy-to-follow beading patterns as I went along. I started teaching other people in workshops at The Fat Green Frog Beading Experience and added Craft Crazy in the town Somerset West as a venue for beading workshops three years ago. Sadly, Craft Crazy closed their retail-doors end of June 2011. Since March 2010 I am also holding regular workshops at RASH in Durbanville and, since June 2011 private workshops and masterclasses are available at my home in Riebeek West.
